She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue is l. Ellis, an American actor and producer who has worked in theater and television as and is present on both sides of the screen. She started her career as an actor in theater and then went on to appear in many television shows, as well as independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character who appeared on ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she played the role of Ariel. Not only did she receive critical acclaim for her character, she also received a few awards and nominations. She made her professional debut as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. She has performed as a character on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to her career in movies Her most well-known roles are Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Her most well-known role is her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
