Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. In the age of 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and began a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at the weight of a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was unable to put on an appearance at the. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy through TKO. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the second. She repeated her dominance and racked up an impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and earned a reward for her performance on the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first match she had in any major capacity. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous vote.
